About Warren G.
At the beginning of his career, Warren G was allowed to practice in the basement of his favorite record store, V.I.P. Warren G played a demo cut by Snoop to his half brother, Dr. Dre, who invited all three to his studio and wound up collaborating with Snoop on The Chronic. While Warren G did contribute, he preferred to make his mark outside of his half brother's shadow.
